A large and impressive museum model of ‘Roman Bridge’ in the commune of Montignies-Saint-Christophe in Belgium.

The 13 arch limestone bridge was built as part of the Roman road between Bavay and Treves actually to the Middle Ages but is nicknamed’Roman Bridge’ because of its location.

The model, which dates to the end of the C19th or very beginning of the C20th is constructed in timber with gesso and painted details, the whole raised on a purpose-made pine base in its original finish.
