A splendid, characterful and primitive early C18th Welsh oak armchair.
A particularly early example, this is a stout and heavy chair, beautiful colour and wear commensurate with age.
In excellent original condition, the front stretcher looks to have been replaced but a very long time ago and has blended in nicely.
