A beautiful, dry, pale, untouched and original C19th Orkney chair.
The pine frame constructed in naturally bleached, driftwood like timber with woven rush back in good order, showing the only the usual wear from nearly two centuries of use.
I’ve been fortunate to find a number of lovely Orkney chairs over the years and this is certainly one of my favourites.
