A sculptural, early C19th oak pig bench from Snowdonia.
The epitome of ‘beauty in simplicity’ this is undoubtedly my favourite example that I’ve ever come across.
Raised on four stout square legs, the top is a wonderful, thick single slab of oak with a naturally silvered colour and some wonderful imperfections that have been embraced by the maker of this rare piece of utilitarian farmhouse furniture.
