A splendid early C19th Irish hedge chair constructed in pale, creamy sycamore and ash.
Distinctive interlocking arms and back spindles, with a solid seat, very similar to a chair in Claudia Kinmouth’s work on Irish Country Furniture, attributed to the Wicklow Mountains region.
A good size chair, suitable for everyday use, historic woodworm holes and wear commensurate with age.
Irish, c1830.
