An early C20th glazed notices cabinet for Oswestry Town FC. Original finish and signwritten club name.
Founded c1886, Oswestry Town FC played their matches on a field off Victoria Road in the Shropshire market town.
They played in the Birmingham League from 1924 before joining the Cheshire County League in 1959 and later, in 1979, the Northern Premier League.
The club was dissolved in 2003, the team merging with Welsh Premiership side The New Saints.
