A most unusual and really rather wonderful box settee.
Early C18th and later adapted, this is a fabulously useful piece of furniture, incorporating a wealth of storage space and very comfortable seating.
The settle is in excellent order, having been recently removed from the interior of a very smart Shropshire farmhouse. The brocade fabric is also in good, useable condition.
An attractive and functional piece which would suit a variety of interiors, from country home to smart townhouse.
