1969 Investiture Chair

A striking red chair, made for the Investiture of the Prince of Wales (now King Charles) at Caernarfon Castle in 1969.
The chairs were designed by Lord Snowdon and made by Remploy in South Wales.

A good example, wear commensurate with age, the odd historic woodworm hole, the seat cushion freshly upholstered in a faithful copy of the original fabric.

Measurements: H: 28” (71cm); W: 21” (53.5cm); D: 21” (53.5cm).
