Lift up lid with internal well, two deep drawers below, original makers label for Brown and Sons of Llanidloes.
This unusual table was sourced from a substantial Montgomeryshire country house and its ‘domestic’ scale suggests it may have been used ‘downstairs’, perhaps for repairs and alterations.
