A gorgeous little primitive pine cricket table from the Herefordshire Welsh border.
In it’s original red painted finish, it appears entirely untouched, save for perhaps one later nail in a stretcher. The notch cut into the top also appears entirely original and suggests it was made for a specific working purpose.
Welsh or English c1800.
