Sunday Pictorial

A rather splendid and extremely rare early 1920’s vitreous enamel advertising sign for the ‘Sunday Pictorial’ (forerunner to the Sunday Mirror) in its original display frame.

Made specifically for use at railway stations with a stylised image of a first class carriage door.

In almost perfect condition with the most vibrant colours (one small area of damage lower centre), it even retains the original GWR ‘ advertising matter carriage free’ destination label for Paddington Station.

Measurements: W: 43″ (110cm); H: 16″ (41cm).
